I started botanical painting and became obsessed after receiving a gift of a course at West Dean College in around 2008 ish when Sandrine Maugy was running the course. I then went on to sign up for the SBA Distance Learning Diploma and was awarded my Diploma with Credit in 2011. Since moving to Cornwall I signed up with weekly classes at the Sawpit Studio with Mally Francis and was encouraged to join the Eden Project Florilegium Society and worked to become a Painting Member, I now have three paintings in the archive.
