I have at last found the road to follow with my life long love of drawing and painting. I feel I can call myself an artist although I am totally self taught I have all the doubts and insecurity of an artist. I love painting portraiture, horses and dogs but my passion for gardening leads easily into Botanical painting but with its very intensive observation, detailed and exacting work, the challenge is enormous.

Of mature years and following a heart attack nearly five years ago, it was my love of drawing and painting that gave me back confidence and purpose.

Before lock down I joined a Botanical group in Salisbury with a wonderful tutor. Fine tuneing my watercolours with the discipline and dedication required to be a Botanical artist. My goal.

I am on Instagram and have enjoyed showing my art and getting to know other artists. It has been fun to be part of this worlwide social media.
