I visited the new exhibition at Kew before Christmas to see the Modern Masterpieces Exhibition and it was such an exciting, diverse, and interesting exhibition that I wanted to see it whilst chatting with other artists. So I thought it would be great to have a meet-up for all those ABBA members who can get there.

Lucy Smith, award winning Kew botanical artist, will join us for our guided tour.

In March the gallery is open from 10 am to 4.30 pm and the gardens are open until 6pm.

I do appreciate that it is another thing ‘in London’ which is frustrating for foreign & regional members (like me!) but it really is such an important exhibition that I think it is worth the effort to see.

For those members finding Kew too far/expensive to get to, then you can read about some of the paintings on Katherine Tyrrell’s website or the book is available from Kew here.

See the accompanying ABBA book review on our blogpost
