Founding member and natural history artist with a primary interest in butterflies and their larval host food plants.  Elaine spent 20 years as a science teacher before returning to her love of botanical art.  Elaine assumed the role as the President of ABA from March 2020.

I have been painting professionally for twenty five years, initially as a Muralist and Decorative Painter, then as an Art Teacher and now as a freelance Botanical Artist and Illustrator. I have a Diploma with Merit from The Chelsea School of Botanical Art, and I am a Painting Member of The Chelsea Physic Garden Florilegium Society, The Association of Botanical Artists (ABA), The American Society of Botanical Artists (ASBA) and Amicus Botanicus. I work with industries and magazines who use botanicals in their products and in their marketing.
